I started writing because I wanted my children to know where I had been wrong and why. I wanted them to see that the Christian life is not an unending self improvement program. It is a life rooted in the finished work of Christ. My hope is that this book helps believers rest in their identity in Christ rather than chase experiences or follow checklists that only exhaust the soul.
Many believers fear they might miss God’s will, as if He has a secret plan hidden behind impressions or signs. Scripture shows a different picture. God’s will is revealed in His Word, lived out through a renewed mind, and expressed in wisdom and trust. You can make decisions with confidence, knowing His will is not a puzzle but a life shaped by Christ.
Irenaeus – second century Church leader – (fl. c.175-c.195): “[We are] most properly assured that the Scriptures are indeed perfect, since they were spoken by the Word of God and His Spirit … all Scripture, which has been given to us by God, shall be found by us perfectly consistent …” (Against Heresies, II, xxviii). “The question is not how many scholars hold such-and-such a view, or what trends have dominated intellectual thought, or even how surveys tell us the majority of people think. The real issue is what the data tell us about the Jesus of history.” -Gary Habermas Every year science takes another step in confirming the authenticity…
“Holiness (and goodness) should never be determined by the whims, wishes, and standards of a created thing or even a whole culture. Especially when that culture’s ideas are so easily influenced by deceitful hearts within it, as well as overall mutability, taking different shapes in conformity to its era.” Jackie Hill Perry Whose Word Do…
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? -Book of Numbers Whose Word Do I trust? I’ve been reading Jackie Hill Perry’s book entitled “Holier Than Thou”. It has deeply challenged me…

This is called transubstantiation The reformer Martin Luther believed that because Christ is “in all…
